General description

Chem-1 cells are an adherent cell line endogenously overexpressing Galpha15 that is used as a host for Chemicon′s ChemiScreen™ GPCR Membrane Preparations. Chemicon′s ChemiScreen™ Wild-Type Chem-1 Membrane Preparations are ideal controls for validation of radioligand binding assays employing ChemiScreen™ GPCR Membrane Preparations in the Chem-1 host cell line.

Physical form

Membranes were adjusted to 0.5 mg protein/ml in 50 mM Tris pH 7.4, 10% glycerol and 1% BSA, rapidly frozen, and stored at -80°C. Use at the same protein concentration as the ChemiScreen™ GPCR Membrane Preparations of interest.

Storage and Stability

Maintain frozen at -70°C for up to 2 years. Do not freeze and thaw.
